John Glenn Clark, a Yale resident, passed away on Sunday, December 29, 2019 in Tulsa at the age of 13.  Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, January 4, 2020 at the Homer Ray Gymnasium, Yale, OK.  Rev. Mike Clark will officiate.  Interment will follow at Blackburn Cemetery, Pawnee County.

Visitation will be held at 1:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., Friday, January 3, 2020 at the Yale Assembly of God.

Arrangements are entrusted to Palmer Marler Funeral Home, Yale, OK.

John grew up in Yale, spending countless hours outdoors with his friends.  He played football, baseball, and basketball for Yale Jr. High as well as football through Stillwater Sports Association.  As most boys do, John dreamed of being drafted to play professionally but also had a contingent plan to be a welder if need be.  He seized every day to fish, camp, and be outdoors with his buddies and his family.  He was a member of FFA and enjoyed making beef jerky.

John is preceded in death by his great grandpa, Leslie Bryant Sr.; great grandmother, Earlene Jung; and one uncle, Leslie Frank Bryant.

He is survived by his mother, Sasha Bryant of Yale; father, Glenn Clark of Yale; siblings, Gavin Lee Clark and Frankie DeLayne Bryant Griffin of Yale; grandparents, Leslie Bryant Jr. and Sherry of Cushing, OK, Richard and Yvette Sterling of Glencoe, OK, Edna and Donnie Bush of Jennings, OK, Eton Mitchell Clark of Dayton, OH; great grandparents, Ed and Julie Gambrel of Pebbles, OH, Earnest  Irvin Jr. and Carol Jung of Yale, OK, Sam and Joyce Skinner of Yale, OK, aunts and uncles,  K.C.  Clark, Cory Clark, Ryan Clark, Ashley Kenmore, Erica Bryant, Laura Bryant, Mercedes Clark, Michelle Clark, Sky Clark, as well as many extended family members, and a host of friends.
