Juan was born on June 24, 1948 in Miami, Arizona and was adopted by his grandparents Ysmael and Trinidad Chacon.
He grew up and attended school in Phoenix. Juan has a standing track and field record set at South Mountain High School. After high school, he married and to this union one son, Juan Chacon Jr. was born. In his younger life, he sang with various bands as the backup singer. Juan coached at the Davey Crockett School in Phoenix where he loved being a part of many kids' lives. Juan gave his life to the Lord in the 80's, everything changed for the best in his life. He loved music, golf, soccer, football, playing the drums and especially witnessing to others about Jesus. In the late 90's he decided to move from Phoenix to Cleveland, OK to spend more time with his son. Juan moved to Yale where he met and married the love of his life Rebecca ConDee on June 24, 2008 at the United Pentecostal Church in Cleveland. During his time in Oklahoma he was a Chaplin for the Cleveland Police Department, coach and assistant coach for Cleveland soccer, assistant Cub Scout leader and played in a gospel band to name a few. He liked being involved with his grandkids and their friends. He loved to sing in church and anywhere he could. He loved to make people laugh and it was hard not to laugh when you were around him as he had his own style of words that he would use for comedy among the few – you little whipper snapper, home boy, home girl, and everyone's favorite Chingy Lingy. His grandkids called him Grandpa Ching or Chingy Lingy amongst others that knew him.
