Juanita Lucille (Tribble) Mayes passed from this life on Wednesday, February 5, 2020 at Drumright Regional Hospital at the age of 85.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Palmer Marler Funeral Home. Services will be held at a later date.

Juanita was born on April 9, 1934 to John and Bertha Mae (Glick) Tribble in Leon, Kansas. She was a hard worker, driving trucks and working for Bama Pies, where she retired. She married the love of her life, Leo Mayes in March 19, 1952 in Newkirk, OK. She loved spending time with her family and her pets. She had a love for animals, many times taking in strays. In her free time, you could find Juanita sewing, painting, and making ceramics.

Juanita is preceded in death by her husband, Leo Mayes; son, Tracy Mayes; daughter, Marquita Magee; grandsons, Jeremy Adams and Dustin Melson; sister, Edna Hubbard and brother, Richard Tribble

Juanita is survived by three children, Terrie Cornog, Johnie Mayes and wife, Debbie, Rex Mayes; two brothers, James Robert Tribble and Bill Tribble; one sister, Mary Carrol. Juanita is also survived by eight grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
