Judy E.
Anderson
March 8, 1945 – August 18, 2021
Judy Anderson passed from this life on Wednesday, August 18, 2021, at her home with family by her side at the age of 76.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Palmer Marler Funeral Home of Yale.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 25, 2021, at the Yale United Methodist Church with Reverend Richard Ayers officiating.
Judy was born on March 8, 1945, in Lindsborg, KS to John W. and Walborg A. (Johnson) Randall. In her early childhood, the family moved to Spokane, WA, where she lived for a few years. Judy and her family later moved back to Lindsborg, KS, where she attended school and graduated from Lindsborg High School. After finishing school, Judy attended Brown-Mackie Business College in Salina, KS. After which she worked in the secretarial field until she married the love of her life, Wayne Anderson. They married on March 7, 1964, in Lindsborg, KS and to this union four sons were born: David Wayne, Philip Wayne, Michael Wayne, and Jeffery Wayne. Judy and her family later relocated to Oklahoma, where they made their home.
Judy was a faithful Christian woman. She was an active member in the Yale United Methodist Church, teaching Sunday school earlier in her life. She would also be found decorating either before Sunday service or on special holidays at the church. Judy also loved to garden, cook, raise animals, and grow flowers. She had endless flower beds and different kinds of flowers, bushes, and grasses in her beds from all over the country. Most of all, she loved her family and her grandchildren. She loved hosting family events and spending as much time as possible with her family and friends.
Judy was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Wayne Anderson and both parents, John and Walborg A. Randall.
Judy is survived by four sons: David Wayne of Stillwater, Philip Wayne and wife, Julie of Perry, Michael Wayne and wife, Kristal of Maramec, and Jeffery Wayne of Yale; seven grandchildren: David's children, Blake (and wife Alissa), Kaitlin, and Caleb; Philip's children, Jacob (and wife, Amanda), and William (and wife, Tessa); Michael and Kristal's son, Garret; Julie's daughters, Jordan and Erika Driskel; one sister, Janette of Lindsborg, KS; one brother, John Randall of Dallas, TX. She had one great-granddaughter, Erika's daughter, Ksenia, and one great-grandson (on the way), William and Tessa's son.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Judy's name to the American Cancer Society.
