Judy Jane
Warden
October 16, 1951 – May 12, 2025
Judy Jane Warden of Cushing, OK was born on October 16, 1951, to Glen Jake and Ruth Evelyn Alsip in Centerville, MO. She was the 5th of 8 children. She graduated from Yale High School with a full scholarship to college in Tonkawa, OK; however, she followed her heart's desire and married her soulmate John Leland Warden on July 24, 1970. They later settled in Cushing, OK where they built a beautiful life and set an enormous example of a marriage of nearly 55 years built on love, respect, and commitment. She passed away on May 12, 2025, at the age of 73 at Drumright Regional Hospital with her loved ones by her side after fighting a difficult battle with Parkinsons.
Judy was the heart of our home and family. She and her husband raised two children, Joanne (53) and John (50) in a happy and loving home. It was her joy to be a stay-at-home momma, and she enjoyed creating a beautiful home, making wonderful meals, and caring for her family in every way possible. She was a beloved memaw to Maranda (29) and Tyler (27) and great-granddaughter Paisley (2 weeks). Judy loved spending time with her grandchildren playing games, having tea parties, jumping on the trampoline, having sleepovers, and just being silly.
Judy joined the workforce when her children were in their teens. She loved people and her beautiful smile was loved by many. She loved working in a doctor's office, being the first person to welcome their patients and at the local tag office. She worked hard and later ran the neighboring town's tag office.
Judy found joy in spending time in her beautiful yard that she lovingly tended by mowing and creating many beautiful flower gardens over the years. She spent countless hours helping dad with too many projects to count, crawling under a car or even under the house to work on plumbing.
Judy is preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Dixie and Gwendolyn; and brothers Max, Ted and Tim. She is survived by her beloved husband, John; her children, Joanne and John; her grandchildren, Maranda and Tyler: and her great-granddaughter, Paisley; her sister, Shirley; brother Tobie; as well as many other loving family members and friends.
