Karla Sue Moffit, a longtime Cushing resident, passed away on Tuesday evening, October 27, 2020 in Sapulpa at the age of 64.  Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Saturday at Mehan Union Church in Ripley, Oklahoma.  Interment will follow at Euchee Valley Memorial Park, Cushing, Oklahoma.

Family will greet friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday evening at Palmer Marler Funeral Home.

Karla was born on August 19, 1956 in Stillwater, Oklahoma to the late Lyle and Rose Marie (Courtright) Hayes.  She grew up in Ripley, graduating from Ripley High School in 1974.  Karla married the love of her life Al Moffit on June 7, 1974 at Ralph Moffit's home in Cushing, Oklahoma.    To this union their only daughter Angela was born.  Karla enjoyed traveling in their travel trailer all over the west coast, New York and Oregon, just to name a few places.  She loved spending time with her family.

Karla is survived by her husband Al Moffit of the home, daughter Angela Rogers and husband Gary of Perkins, brothers Jimmy Hayes and wife Margaret of Tecumseh and Roger Hayes and wife Crystal of Stillwater, grandchildren Noah and Matthew Rogers.

She was preceded in death by her parents and grandson Caleb Matthew Rogers.
