Keewatin "Kriss" Cypert passed from this life on Saturday, December 2, 2023, at her home with her husband by her side.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Palmer Marler Funeral Home of Perkins.  A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, December 8, 2023, at the Cimarron Worship Center in Perkins, OK with Reverend Larry Huff officiating.  A visitation will be held on Thursday, December 7, 2023, at the Palmer Marler Funeral Home in Perkins from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Kriss was born on November 5, 1957, to Vernon and Francis (Helakopski) Cantrell in Hayward, California.  She and her family moved to Oklahoma not long after she was born.  She attended school in Oklahoma City, graduating from Douglas High School in 1975.  After high school, Kriss worked for several different mailing companies.

She met and fell head over heels in love with Michael Cypert.  They married on May 6, 1981, in Valley Brook and to this union two children were born: Robert and David.

Kriss worked hard for her family and when she wasn't working, she loved to spend all her free time with them.  She was an avid watcher of true crime dramas on TV.  She had a huge heart for her family and animals.

Kriss was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.  She will be dearly missed.

Kriss is preceded in death by her parents.  Kriss is survived by her husband, Michael Cypert of the home; two sons, Robert Cypert and wife, Amber of Kingfisher, David Cypert and wife, Krystal of Oklahoma City.  Kriss is also survived by nine grandchildren.
