Kevin Scott Caldwell Sr. 59  years of age, of Cushing, OK passed away on January 17 ^th surrounded by his family in Sapulpa, OK.

Kevin was born in Tulsa, OK to Dan and Barbara Caldwell on November 25 ^th , 1960.  He graduated from Sapulpa High School in 1978.

Immediately after high school, Kevin joined the United States Air Force as a Fire Protection Specialist and was stationed at Lackland AFB, Chanute AFB and served three years in England on and old Royal Air Force Base used during the second world war.

After returning to the United States, Kevin held several different jobs. The work that he most enjoyed was that of Assistant Funeral Director at Palmer/Marler Funeral Home. This is where he worked with the most professional people in the business. He considered them all family as well as co-workers. Duane and Anita Marler impacted his life in so many ways, such as their caring for others no matter who they were. And their willingness to give just because they wanted to. Kevin always loved Duane and Anita.

He married his wife Laura of 4 ½ years on September 5 ^th, 2015 in Sapulpa, OK. Kevin was an active member of the Cushing Rotary Club and could always be found volunteering throughout the community. He attended and enjoyed the fellowship of church members.

His favorite hobbies included hunting, fishing and golf. Kevin always cherished deer hunting every year with his friend Bill Smale, his best friend since the Air Force days in England. He even got Laura involved and she could be caught out in the deer blind at 5:30 AM every morning.

He is preceded in death by his father Dan Caldwell Sr. and father-in law Floyd Crawford of Sapulpa.

Kevin is survived by his loving wife Laura Caldwell of Sapulpa. Three daughters Michelle, Karen and husband Phil Diehl, and Beki Caldwell. One son Kevin Caldwell Jr. all of Sapulpa. One stepson Todd and wife Susan Rogers of Tulsa.

Two brothers Dannie and wife Patti Caldwell, Tray and wife Angela Caldwell. One sister Wendy and husband Gary Vanarsdel and his Mother Barbara Caldwell all of Sapulpa.

Kevin is also survived by numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles too many to name but loved dearly just the same.

Services will be held at Green Hill Chapel, Sapulpa, OK on Wednesday January 22 ^nd , 2020 at 2:00 p.m. with burial to follow at Green Hill Cemetery, Sapulpa, Ok.  Arrangements are under the direction of Palmer Marler Funeral Home, Cushing, Ok.
