Kiowa "Jett" Lee Tate, 19, of Cushing, Oklahoma passed away on December 11, 2024.

Kiowa was born on April 23, 2005, to Kevin Tate and Kristi Tate. Kiowa was the light of a large, loving family. He was dedicated to anything he set his mind to. Kiowa was a graduate of Cushing High School as well as Central Technology of Drumright and was apprenticing at Jackson Electric to become an electrician.

He loved being with his friends, girlfriend, and family. Kiowa enjoyed fishing and OU football. He was proud of his weightlifting accomplishments. Kiowa always had a way to keep everyone laughing. We will miss his beautiful and kind smile every single day.

Kiowa is preceded in death by his friend, Kyle Sams.

He is survived by his father, Kevin Tate (Brina Tate); his mother, Kristi Tate (John Martin); his twin sister, Camille Tate and friend Cayden Franklin, his older sister, Chloe Tate, his younger brother, A'main Martin; his girlfriend, Autumn Harris; his grandparents, Sam Paden, Sharon Milligan, Josephine Graham and David Graham, Leland Tate Sr., and Cathy Tate. Kiowa is also loved by a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and all his beautiful and wonderful friends, whom he cherished.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Palmer Marler Funeral Home. A celebration of Kiowa's life will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 21, 2024, at the First Baptist Church in Cushing.
