LADAWN STILES SIMPSON

LaDawn was born in Durango, Colorado on October 29, 1957, to Alfred G. Stiles and Patsy Stiles. She grew up in Ripley and Yale Oklahoma.

LaDawn married Thomas Simpson in July of 1977. They made their home in Yale, Oklahoma. She went to school at Oklahoma State University and graduated with her BS, Masters, and Doctorate degree in Design Housing and Merchandising.

She taught classes at OSU and area High Schools. LaDawn loved artwork and designing and making things.

She always tried to pass on all the things she learned from her Granny Stiles that she talked about forever.

LaDawn was proud of how her children turned out to be good, responsible, Christian adults.

She loved traveling to the Beach, New York City, and shared that love with her kids and grandkids. She loved shopping and giving things to others.

LaDawn volunteered at Wings of Hope in Stillwater, she gave so much of her time helping Rape Victims, Battered Women and Children.

She was loved by everyone she met, went to school with, and worked with.

We could write a book about all the amazing things she accomplished, smarter than people ever knew. She didn't want people to know or make a fuss about her.

LaDawn was proceeded in death by her grandparents; Mother, Pat Stiles; Aunts, uncles and several cousins.

She is survived by her father, Alfred Stiles; Husband, Thomas Simpson; Brother, Garland Stiles; Sister, Dorothy Cardenas and husband Tony.

Children, Shannon; Michael and spouse Deb; Katina and spouse Ted; LeeAnn and spouse Richard.

Grandkids, Brian and spouse Laney; Brandon and spouse Bianca; Alyson, Kristopher, Timothy, Daniel and spouse Jackie; Kora, Jeremy and spouse Tara; Jake, Corbin and spouse Kelly; Kimberly and spouse Jorge; Justice and spouse Danny; Tristen, Alex, JoAnn and Robert.

Great Grandkids, Brian III (Clete), Scout, Jaxson, Jaiden, Brayton (Spanky), Elana, Zariah, Zayden, Dracen, Cooper, Reagan, Hudson, Salem, Hadlee, Bradlee, Ainslee and Helix.

So many kids we call grandkids, Treyton, Autumn, Alaska, Tevin, Teagan, Talyn, Alexis, Austin, Theo, Ada, Gracie, Maddie, Noah. Numerous nieces and nephews and their children.
