Obituary

Linda L. Davidson passed away on October 10, 2025, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Born on December 29, 1960, in Dallas, Texas, Linda's life was one of warmth, passion, and creativity, leaving behind a legacy marked by love and vibrant memories.

Linda's journey began as a bright spark in the Dunn family, and her youthful days were filled with learning and playing in Cushing. It was there that Linda's path would become entwined with Bob Leon Davidson's, the love of her life. They were married in May of 1978 and blossomed together in a partnership that gifted them three wonderful children: Billy, Cynthia, and Dustin.

Her roles as a mother, wife, and friend were performed with a rare combination of grace, humor, and resilience. Linda's fervor for life was matched by her hands, skilled in the art of woodworking and crafts. Creative expression found its way into every corner of her world, and her home was a treasure trove of her artistic endeavors. Linda relished the opportunity to camp under the stars or kick up sand on a dune buggy, each adventure shared with Bob or echoed in the laughter of family and friends at poker nights.

As a woman of many passions, she found solace and excitement in the pages of books, escape in the joy of reading, the narratives as adventurous as her own life. Yet, nothing compared to time spent enveloped in the company of her children and grandchildren, whose lives were illuminated by Linda's steadfast love and support.

Linda leaves a legacy rich in color and laughter, survived by her adoring family, including her three children: Billy and his wife Robin, Cynthia Courtright, and Dustin and his wife Rachael; her loving sisters: Jackie Thompson and her husband Ben, and Janet Lane; six grandchildren: Russell, Augustus, Tucker, Christopher, Jordan, and Natalie; and her brother-in-law, Verlin Ohse. Linda treasured their bonds; a love reflected in every memory shared and every story told.

Her life is a testament to full-hearted living, emblazoned with the moments that bridge the expanse from earth to heaven. Linda was preceded in death by her devoted parents, Billy and Jean (Chestnut) Dunn; her beloved husband, Bob Leon Davidson; and her sister, Cathy Brazil.
