Linda Rae Slay, a longtime Cushing resident, passed away on Saturday, November 6, 2021 at Cushing Hillcrest Hospital at the age of 71.  Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, November 15, 2021 at Bible Baptist Church in Pawnee, Oklahoma.

Arrangements are entrusted to Palmer Marler Funeral Home, Cushing, Oklahoma.

Linda was born on November 28, 1949 in Pawnee, Oklahoma to Robert Ray and Wilma Jean (Minney) Kline.  She grew up in  Pawnee, graduating in 1968.   Linda worked at her dad's restaurant and grocery store while growing up.   Linda married Scott Slay and to this union, Mandy and Davin were born.   Linda was a member of the Bible Baptist Church in Pawnee.  She owned and operated several businesses with her dad then sold them in 2001 to retire.  Linda loved shopping, traveling and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her daughter Mandy Meszaros of Cushing, son Davin Kline of Ponca City, siblings David Kline of Pawnee, Janice Fine and husband Jim of Sedan, KS., Wanda Smith of Tulsa, Christy Degraw and husband Terry of Tulsa, grandchildren Anjel Marlin and Bretlin, Damian Kline, BayLee Kline and Shailey Meszaros, great grandson Waylen Marlin, mom Margaret Middleton.  Also numerous bonus children and grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
