Obituary

Lisa Dawn Smith, age 52, passed from this life with her family by her side May 8, 2024 at her home in Cushing, Oklahoma.

Lisa was born September 8, 1971, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She is the daughter of Larry Smith and Nadine McFadden.

Lisa attended Cushing Schools and was salutatorian of her graduating class of 1989. For many years, Lisa lived in Tulsa, Oklahoma and was employed at Don Carlton Honda before deciding to move back to Cushing to live with her beloved mother. Lisa was employed with RCB Bank until her passing.

Lisa bloomed in a reflection of grace, kindness and had a servant's heart. She faithfully served her Savior Jesus Christ. She was fueled by his love and her gift to gently and encouragingly touch the lives of others. At an early age, Lisa was baptized into the Church of the Firstborn by brother Marvin Brooks. Her life was beautifully expressed in humbleness, quietness, by her Father's hope. She was always driven by her passion to help others and to live each on with a warm loving embrace of comfort. Simple and sweet, she will be greatly and tenderly missed.

Lisa is survived by her mother Nadine McFadden, her father Larry Smith and wife LouAnn; sisters Laurie Harrison and husband Rodney, Linda Lee, two half-sisters Camille Robinson and Laura Jeanette Hill, one half brother Brandon Smith, many nieces, nephews and beloved friends.

Lisa is preceded in death by her Aunt Laquita Ishmael Dahlke, one nephew Kyle Michael Harrison and many beloved family members.

There will be a celebration of life at Parkland Cemetery, in Agra, Oklahoma on Saturday, May 18, 2024, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.
