Loyd Deral Bingamon passed away on June 1, 2017 surrounded by his loving family.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Palmer Marler Funeral Home in Cushing Ok, services will be held on Tuesday June 6, 2017 at 2 p.m. at the Palmer Marler Funeral Home Chapel in Cushing. Reverend John Squires will officiate; interment will follow at the Avery cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Monday June 5, 2017 from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Loyd was born in Pawnee, Oklahoma on August 5, 1949, to William E. and LaVerna (Kiser) Bingamon, Loyd grew up in many different places and at the age of 16 , he moved to Texas to be with his dad , he began learning to drive a truck and hauling hay his CB handle was (Hay Hook).
At the age of 19 Loyd met and married the love of his life Mary Goodwin and to this union four children were born, Betty, Loyd Jr., April, and Kim. Loyd used the skills he learned from hauling hay and began driving a truck cross country for over 40 years. Loyd was a simple man that would do anything for anybody, truly a man that would give the shirt off his back if it would help someone out. He was a family man that loved his children, but most of all loved spending time with his grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Those that knew him best would say he never knew a stranger.
Loyd is survived by one son: Loyd Bindamon Jr. and wife Michelle, three daughters: Betty Bowen and husband Thomas, April Bingamon, and Kimberly Bingamon and fiancé, Bobby Davis, two sisters: Ann Clark, and Debra Walker, Twelve grandchildren: Timothy Mitchell, Michael Bowen and fiancé Jordan Perryman, Jacob Bowen, Michael Henson Jr., Amber Henson, Christopher Harmon, Ryan Slingerland, Zackary Davis, Thomas Mayes, Tosha Mays, one great-granddaughter: Lakely Henson.
He is preceded in death by his parents, wife: Mary, brothers: Lawrence, Lester, Bill, and Melvin, two sisters: Alice, and Shirley.
