Martha Ann Vaughan, known affectionately as Ann, passed away peacefully on October 10, 2024, at the age of 76 in Agra, Oklahoma. Born on February 24, 1948, in Frankfurt, Germany, Ann was a beacon of love and gentleness throughout her life.
Ann's academic achievements were remarkable, having graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor's degree and later obtaining a Master's degree in Psychology. Her professional life was dedicated to serving others through her career with the Department of Human Services.
Married to Marshall Vaughan on December 5, 1966, Ann's nearly 58 years of marriage were filled with unwavering love and devotion. Her family was her world, and she expressed her love by cooking and creating a warm, welcoming home.
Those who knew Ann will remember her as a loving, gentle, and generous soul. Her legacy of kindness and compassion will continue to inspire all who were blessed to know her. Ann's memory will be cherished and kept alive in the hearts of her loved one's.
Martha is preceded in death by her parents John and Erna Germany, her son, Brian Lee Vaughan and granddaughter, Ashlyn Jade Roe.
She is survived by her husband Marshall Lee Vaughan; children, Angie Vaughan and fiancé Daniel Grant, Josh Vaughan and wife Tonya, Sarah Roe and husband Chris and Matthew Vaughan and wife Jennifer; siblings, Marie Huddleston, Linda Tuggle and John Germany Jr.; seventeen grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren and six nieces and nephews, including niece, Christy Smith.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Palmer Marler Funeral Home. A visitation will be held on Sunday, October 13, 2024, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
