Mary A. Moore, age 80, was taken to Heaven the 30th of November, 2020.

Mary was born July 7th, 1940 to Everett and Ruby Brown in Urich Missouri. Mary was given 4 years with her mother before she passed away. Mary was fortunate enough to be favored with a second mother, Faye Brown, who did an excellent job loving and raising Mary.

In 1958 she married Roy A. Moore Jr of Knob Noster, and worked at several different jobs while focusing on her primary desire, to be a mother. Fulfilling that desire, Mary brought 5 beautiful children into the world, Rodney, Douglas, Angela, Melinda, and Christine.

Mary enjoyed many different hobbies, she could always be found crocheting, knitting, doing crossword puzzles, as well as writing songs and poetry, some of which were published. The most notable aspect of Mary's life is, without a doubt, her love for God. Mary loved and worshipped without reservation, and would tell anyone about the love of Jesus Christ, and would sing hymns and praise songs constantly.

Mary is preceded in death by her parents, Everett, Faye, and Ruby Brown. Her siblings Dale Foster, Ruby Mahan, Dorothy Jennings, Violet Owens, Ronald Brown. Her husband Roy Moore Jr. Her two sons, Rodney Allen and Douglas LeRoy.

She is survived by siblings Everett Brown of Pleasant Hill, Jerry Brown of Warrensburg, and Linda Brown of Warrensburg. Her Daughters Angela Caldwell of Tulsa, Ok,  Melinda Akers of Warrensburg, Mo,  and Christine Szippl of Overland Park, Ks. As well as 9 Grandchildren and  16 Great-Grand Children

Services will be held at La Monte Baptist Church, La Monte, Mo on Monday December 7th, 2020 at 1 P.M. with burial to follow at  La Monte Cemetery.
