Mary "Betty" Elizabeth LeForce, a longtime Yale resident, passed away on Saturday, January 29, 2022 at her home in Yale with her family by her side at the age of 87. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 12, 2022 at the Fellowship Baptist Church in Yale, Oklahoma. Brother Mich Dershem will officiate. Arrangements are entrusted to Palmer Marler Funeral Home, Cushing, Oklahoma.
Mary "Betty" was born on June 13, 1934 in Prue, Oklahoma to the late William Ellis and Eunice (Treat) Cypert. She grew up and attended school in Prue. Betty married Jerry LeForce on March 27, 1975 in Springdale, Arkansas. They made their home in Yale. Mary was a wonderful cook, she couldn't just feed a few, always a crowd. Mary owned Mary's Country Kitchen in Yale for a few years then cooked at various restaurants throughout her life. A highlight of her life was cooking at Falls Creek for Brother Mich and the church for 29 years. She was a Charter member of the Fellowship Baptist Church and enjoyed going to church and serving the Lord. Betty loved spending time with her kids and grandchildren.
Betty is survived by her husband Jerry, children Betty Lou Mace and husband Trent of Mannford, Mary Ann Winterbottom of Yale, William Cypert of Sand Springs, Nancy Howard of Cushing, two step-children Jason LeForce of Oilton and Irene LeForce of Colorado, sister Jane Jones of Mannford, 27 grandchildren, 48 great grandchildren and 11 great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Sherry Langston, son Bob Patterson and Doyle Patterson, siblings Olean Dickson, Kay Tilly, Donnie Leshurd, Melvin Cypert, Bob Cypert, Benny Cypert, Frank Cypert and Alma Horton and baby Cypert, grandsons Sammy McCullough and Leon Howard.
