Mary Theresa Martinelli passed from this life on Saturday, November 6, 2021.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Palmer Marler Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 12, 2021 at Palmer Marler Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Euchee Valley Memorial Park.

Mary was born on September 25, 1939 to Angelo and Angela (Ugolini) Mordini in Borra di Pievepelago, Province of Modena, Italy. She grew up in Italy and moved to the Chicago, IL in her teen years. After finishing school, Mary met and fell in love with John Martinelli. They married on October 21, 1961 in Chicago. They had one son, John Paul. In 2008, Mary and John retired to Cushing to be close to her son and grandsons. Mary and John spent 55 loving years together, before his passing in 2016.

Mary was a member of Saints Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Cushing, since moving to Cushing in 2008.

Mary was a caring and loving mother, grandmother, and friend. She will be missed.

Mary is preceded in death by her husband, John, and both parents, Angelo and Angela Mordini.

Mary is survived by her son, John Paul Martinelli; three grandsons, Jaxson, Nick, and Joe Martinelli; one sister, Luciana (Mordini) Kuziw; one niece, Julie Hess. Mary is also survived by numerous cousins and other relatives.
