Melvin Lynch, age 85, of Cushing, Oklahoma passed away on Thursday, January 23, 2025, at home.

He was born on March 19, 1939, to Lewis and Ida (Riggs) Lynch. Melvin was the oldest son of eight siblings. He attended Drumright public schools. Melvin met Pauline Elizabeth Moore, and they were married on June 29, 1961.

Melvin worked at Saffa Grocery, and for the city of Drumright. He also worked for the city of Cushing at the Light Power Plant for over 35 years.

He is preceded in death by his sister, Darlene Bishoff.

He is survived by his wife, Pauline; daughter Donna Ridge; his grandson, Chris Ridge; his great-grandson, Cayden Ridge; and his sister, Sandra Lynch.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Palmer Marler Funeral Home.
