Micah M.
Brandon
January 22, 1978 – September 21, 2025
Micah Michaele Brandon, a beacon of love and adventure, passed away on September 21, 2025, in Cushing, Oklahoma, at the age of 47. Born on January 22, 1978, in Drumright, Oklahoma, Micah's life was a tapestry of cherished moments and enduring relationships.
Micah attended school in Yale. After finishing school, Micah's true calling was found in the joys of motherhood and the warm embrace of family life. Her heart found its match when she married her soulmate, Joshua Brandon, in Wheeler County, Texas, in October of 2004. Together, they built a life filled with laughter, love, and the simple pleasures that make a life well-lived.
Micah's spirit of adventure and her loving nature were the cornerstones of her existence. She was a woman who found her greatest happiness in the company of her beloved husband, Josh, their three children, Tiffanie, Dylan, and Kaylee, and her precious grandchildren, Augustus and Rowan. She is also survived by her mother, Dixie Fox, step father Preston Box, her sister, Chandra Lewis, and her aunt and uncle, Shawn and Lisa Box, as well as numerous other family members. Micah's legacy is one of unconditional love and the bonds of family that she nurtured with every fiber of her being.
Though her father, Michael Holland, and her sister, Sierra Box, preceded her in death, the light of Micah's spirit continues to shine in the memories she leaves behind.
Micah's zest for life extended to her many interests. She was a familiar face at Deep Pockets in Sand Springs, where she reveled in the friendliness of playing pool. Her love for the outdoors was evident in the countless hours she spent fishing and camping with Josh, their children, and friends. Micah also possessed a creative soul, expressing herself through arts and crafts and the intricate patterns of her crocheting.
Those who knew Micah will remember her as a loving and adventurous spirit, a woman who embraced life's journey with an open heart and a ready smile. Her presence was a gift to all who had the privilege of knowing her, and her absence will be deeply felt.
