Michael Edmond Buzick Sr. , a resident of Stroud, passed away on Saturday, July 6, 2019 in Stroud, Ok.    Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, July 20, 2019 at Palmer Marler Funeral Home Chapel, Cushing, Ok.  Arrangements are entrusted to Palmer Marler Funeral Home, Cushing, OK.

Michael was born on November 13, 1953 in Granite City, Illinois to the late Lloyd and Lucinda (Parker) Buzick.   Michael grew up in Hayward, California, graduating from Sunset High School Class of 1971.   Michael served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam Era.  He worked as a long haul truck driver most of his life, after he retired, would still pick up a side job from time to time driving a truck hauling things to other states.  His hobbies included a bunch of rest and relaxation, he was sure to make the best of his retirement.  Michael loved spending time with his family, children, grandchildren.

Michael is survived by his girlfriend, Marie Hamilton, sons Michael Buzick and wife Lisa, Patrick Buzick and wife Susan, Devin Denton, brothers Lloyd Buzick, Jr. and wife Bev.,  Chuck Buzick, Corey Asher and wife Jordan and two girls,  sisters Vickie Almason, Cricket Baird and husband Allen,   six grandchildren that he loved very much and numerous extended family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents Lloyd and Lucinda Buzick, sister Elaine Dutra, brother-in-law Ray Almason, brother in law Lionel Dutra.
