March 24, 1967 – February 14, 2020
Michelle Ann Easterwood of Stillwater, Oklahoma passed peacefully from this life on February 14, 2020 in Forney, Texas. She was on her way home from a weeklong cruise she had taken with her classmates. The family will be eternally grateful for the joy she was able to have in her final days here on this earth.
A Memorial Service will be held to celebrate Michelle's life at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 18, 2020 at New Covenant Fellowship Church, 1110 E. McElroy Stillwater, OK 74075. Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, February 17, 2020 at Palmer Marler Funeral Home, Cushing, Oklahoma.
Michelle was born March 24, 1967 in Bethesda, Maryland to proud parents Hubert and Eunice (Daniels) Easterwood. She grew up in Decatur, Georgia graduating High School with the Class of 1985. Michelle would then move to Oklahoma and continue her education at OSU in Stillwater. She was an extremely intelligent woman and was very successful as an Administrative Assistant at CCA, ABM, and was a mortgage loan processor for a time. She loved being a devoted "Nana" to her five grandkids. Michelle will always be remembered as an amazing woman with a big heart.
Michelle is preceded in death by her son, Nicholas Cole Easterwood; brothers, Bobby William Easterwood, Ralph Jeremiah Eisensmith; special grandmother, Carolyn Elizabeth Long.
She is survived by her children, Douglas Aaron Long, Carolyn Elizabeth Long, Rachelle Kristina Long, and Jeremiah Williams Easterwood all of Stillwater, OK; siblings, Betty McCraw of Kauffman, TX and JoAnn Crumpton of Cedartown, GA; grandchildren, Natasha Long-Caradine of Oklahoma City, Kamryn Long of Sapulpa, Julianne Komorski-Long of Stillwater, Izabella Beaver of Stillwater, and Jaxon Easterwood of Stillwater; she is also survived by many friends that she adopted as her family.
