In Loving Memory of Michelle Renee Hopkins

Michelle Renee Hopkins, born April 9, 1966, in Bakersfield, California, passed away surrounded by the love of those who will forever carry her in their hearts.

Michelle was a dedicated mother, daughter, sister, and friend. She loved with all she had and always seemed to have a smile on her face. Her daughters were her greatest pride and joy, and she was their biggest fan. Michelle, her girls hung the moon, and there was nothing she wouldn’t do for them.

Michelle found joy in the simple things that made life special. She loved volunteering at the Taft Police Department, playing games on her computer, and, of course, enjoying her beloved Starbucks coffee. Most of all, she treasured spending time with her family and friends. Her laughter, kindness, beautiful smile, and loving spirit touched more lives than she probably ever realized.

Michelle was preceded in death by her father, Danny Hopkins.

She leaves behind her loving mother, Glenna Bell Jauch; her sister, Rebecca Hopkins; her brothers, Danny Hopkins Jr. and Joshua Hopkins; and her beloved daughters, Heather Taylor and Nicole Spencer. She also leaves behind countless family members and friends who will miss her deeply and cherish the memories they shared with her.

Michelle’s spirit was larger than life, and her love will continue to live on through everyone who knew her. While our hearts are broken by her absence, we find comfort in knowing that she is finally at peace, reunited with the family and friends who were waiting for her in Heaven with their arms wide open.

Momma, you were loved more than words could ever express. Your smile, your love, and the memories you gave us will stay in our hearts forever.

We love you, Momma. Until we meet again. ❤️

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Palmer Marler Funeral Home.  A memorial service will be held at a later date.
