Obituary

Myrtle Ludene Coonce was born in Medford, Oklahoma on April 29, 1924 to Frank & Frankie Armstrong.  She was the 7th child in a family of 12 children, 8 girls- Eula and Maud born sleeping. Eunice, Esther, Dorothy, Gladys and 4 boys Don, Loren, Loyd and Glen. Ludene's mother passed away when she was 14 years old, leaving her to stay home and raise the younger children. She always wanted to be a high school graduated and later in life got her GED and was very proud to be a High School Graduate. Ludene met and married Howard Anderson and moved to Agra. They had 3 children Leroy and daughter in law Nancy Lee, Nogal NM, Lesley and Jim Potter Cushing, and Gary and Becky Anderson of Tryon.

Ludene loved crocheting, sewing, cooking, being with her family and serving God. She always had a smile on her face and something nice to say. She loved her church family and they had love and respect for her. She was preceded by Howard Anderson, Leigh McKetrick and Calvin Coonce, her parents, her siblings and 1 grandson Daniel Anderson. She is survived by her children, step children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, great church family and many other friends and relatives.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, July 25, 2019 at Church of the Firstborn, Perkins, Ok.  Brothers Roger Lane and Scott Heddleston will officiate.   Interment will follow at George Cemetery, Tryon, Oklahoma.
