Naomi Ruth
Partridge
August 4, 1937 – March 15, 2023
Naomi Ruth Partridge passed from this life at the age of 85, on March 15, 2023 in Weatherford, Oklahoma.
Naomi was born on August 4, 1937, in Morris, Oklahoma, to parents John Henry and Hattie Mable (Ritchey) Murrell. She was one of the "Murrell Girls". Naomi went to high school at Perkins and also attended the Word of Life church. She was a strict and stern mother but yet she was also very compassionate and kind. Her nature was to be a help to whoever needed it, whether that was her children, a church family or a stranger, she had a servant's heart and was also ready to give.
Naomi worked as a switchboard operator for Southwestern Bell for 42 years. After she retired, she went back to school to become a travel agent, gaining such good grades to be on the President's Honor Roll. Naomi loved to travel. She loved to plan vacations, being so organized that every minute was packed with as much as they could see in the time they were allotted. Her favorite places to travel was overseas, getting to spend time in Paris and Italy.
Naomi enjoyed her time in traveling, but it never compared to the joy she found in the family that God blessed her with. She had such a selfless nature that she made sure her family was fully and completely cared for, of course in the most prim and proper way, with grace in her heart. Naomi will truly be missed by all who loved her.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Bobby Joe Partridge and her son Greg Partridge.
Naomi is survived by her son Griffin Partridge and wife Cheryl; daughter-in-law, April Partridge; grandchildren, Emily, Sam, Sarah, Brayden, Garret and Ayden; step-grandchildren, Aaron and Bryce; and two great-grandchildren, plus many nieces, nephews, friends and relatives.
A graveside service will be held for Naomi at the Perkins Cemetery on Monday, March 20, at 2PM.
