Nell Rose Thornbrugh, 64, of Cushing, passed peacefully into the arms of our Lord at 7:55pm., Saturday, February, 15, 2020.

Nell was born July 6, 1955, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, she dedicated her life to serving others by becoming a nurse.  Sharing her skills with several Tulsa hospitals prior to retirement.  She was an active member of the Mount Olive Baptist Church in Cushing, Oklahoma.  Her smile, love of Christ, hugs and so much about her left a lasting impression on all of those crossed her path.  She is survived by her daughter JoAnne Stermon and son Donald Frank Thornbrugh Jr, Grandchildren Taylor Stermon, Nicholas Stermon and Alec Thornbrugh.  Sisters Linda Luallen and Carol Cogborn, brothers Ronnie Watson and Ricky Weirick. Numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and great great nieces and nephews.  Loved and admired by many.

She is preceded in death by her mother Helen Weirick and father Robert Weirick.

Memorial services will be held at 3pm, Sunday February 23 ^rd ,at Mount Olive Baptist Church in Cushing, Oklahoma.  Pastor Robert Baker will officiate.
