Nora A. Toops, longtime Cushing resident passed from life on Tuesday, July 16, 2019 in Stillwater, OK.

Arrangement have been entrusted to the care of Palmer Marler Funeral Home.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 23, 2019 in the chapel of Palmer Marler Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Euchee Valley Memorial Park. Visitation will be held at Palmer Marler Funeral Home on Monday, July 22, 2019 from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Nora was born on December 31, 1945 to Frank and Lila (Jackson) Toops in Bristow, OK. Nora was a loving a caring woman who didn't know the meaning of strangers. She had a huge heart and made sure family and friends were well taken care of. She was a crafty woman, making gifts for friends, family, and complete strangers. At home, Nora would listen to country gospel music, especially Elvis and Vince Gill. While living in the nursing home, Nora made many close friends.

Nora was an amazing woman with a heart of gold. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Nora is preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Lila Toops; two sisters, Rebecca Winkler and Margaret Ragan; two brothers, Doug and Ben Toops.

Nora is survived by one sister, Wanda Bailey of Texas; two brothers, Arthur Toops of Stillwater, and Frank Toops of Argona, KS; one niece, Becky Winkler of Cushing, two nephews, Paul Winkler of Cushing, and Roger and Rebecca Toops of Agra. Nora is also survived by other numerous relatives and friends.
