Paula Harrison, 67, passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her family and friends. She was born on June 29, 1958, in California to Wynona Morgan and Leeroy Welch.

Paula was married to Jim Harrison, and together they made their home in Yale, where she spent many years surrounded by family and community. Before settling in Yale, she also lived in Enid. Paula was known for her strong work ethic, having worked as a pipeliner helper, while also being a devoted homemaker who cared deeply for her loved ones.

She was a loving mother to her daughter, Haley Riley, and a proud grandmother to Elishah Lewis, Blake Perry, and Chase Perry. She also looked at Lily Shelly and Devin Shelly as her own grandchildren, and they held a special place in her heart.

Paula is survived by her husband, Jim Harrison; her daughter, Haley Riley; her mother, Wynona Morgan; her grandchildren, Elishah Lewis, Blake Perry, and Chase Perry; and her brothers and sisters: Arlene Hale, Gail Dunbar, Leeroy Welch, Mike Toone, Andy McNitch, and Billy Toone.

She also leaves behind many beloved nieces and nephews: Asia Marshall, Seth Marshall, Sadie Hale, Jake Wilson, Angela Shaw, Eli Dunbar, Gabriel Dunbar, Katie Toone, Danielle Toone, Patrick Toone, Mathew Toone, Chancie Toone, Josh Toone, Tylee Welch, and Julianna Jordan.

Paula will be remembered for her caring heart, strong spirit, and the love she shared with her family. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Palmer Marler Funeral Home.

A Celebration of life for Paula Harrison will be held on Thursday, May 14, at 2:00 PM at Yale Assembly of God, 777 Glory Rd, Yale, Oklahoma 74085. Family and friends are invited to attend and celebrate her life.
