Paula Sue Simmons, 57, longtime Oilton/Silver City resident passed peacefully from this life on November 9, 2022, surrounded by her family.  Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Palmer Marler Funeral Home, Oilton.

Paula was born on May 24, 1965, in Drumright, Oklahoma to proud parents Howard and Wanda (Honeycutt) Peelman. She grew up in Oilton graduating from Oilton High School with the class of 1983.  She married her high school sweetheart, Billy Simmons on April 17, 1984, in Oilton, Oklahoma.  Their marriage of 38 years was blessed with 3 daughters, Jennifer, Jessica, and Tonya. The family made their home in Oilton for 15 years before moving to Silver City.

Paula is preceded in death by her parents and grandparents; brother, Mark Peelman; and granddaughter, Mackenzie Coleman.

She is survived by her husband Billy of the home; daughters, Jennifer and husband Ryan Smith of Silver City, Jessica Goree of Oilton, and Tonya and husband Terence Coleman of Mannford; siblings, Ann Miller of New Smyrna Beach, FL, and Wane and wife Shawna Peelman of Oilton; grandchildren, Michael, Nate, Jadeann, Joe, Caiden, Monika, and Jordynn; nieces and nephews, Tyler, Dakota, Shelbi, and Denver; she was a special Aunt-Nana to Oaklynn; as well as many other nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 13, 2022, at Palmer Marler Funeral Home, in Oilton, Oklahoma.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, November 14, 2022, at Silver City Freewill Baptist Church, 44840 W. 51 ^st Street South, Silver City, Oklahoma.
