Randall "Randy" Joe Zumwalt, age 58 of Oklahoma City, passed away on Thursday, January 24, 2019 in Oklahoma City.  Memorial services are pending.

Arrangements are entrusted to Palmer Marler Funeral Home, Cushing, OK.

Randy was born on January 28, 1960 in Cushing, Oklahoma Bobby Joe and Charlene Marie (Fielding) Zumwalt.  He grew up in Mannford, graduating from Mannford High School in 1978.  Randy attended O.S.U. for a year then began working.  He joined the U.S. Army in 1980 and served in the Military Police in Germany then honorably discharged in 1989.   Randy married Carla Marie Alday while in Germany and they returned to the states.  To this union, Evan Joel and Alexander Joe were born.  Randy worked for the Veteran's Hospital in Oklahoma City as a police officer from 1989 - 2013.   He enjoyed riding dirt bikes and fast cars.

He is survived by his father Bob Zumwalt and wife Beverly of Cushing, sons Evan Joel Zumwalt of Oklahoma City and Alexander J. Zumwalt of Hot Springs, AR., sister Karin Zumwalt of Mannford, Ok.

Randy was preceded in death by his mother Charlene Zumwalt and his grandparents.
