Reba Sue Lawson Cline passed from this life on Wednesday, July 19, 2023, in Tulsa, OK at the age of 83.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Palmer Marler Funeral Home.  A private family service will be held at a later date.

Reba was born on February 3, 1940, to Everett and Ida (Strong) Lawson in Cushing, OK.  She grew up and attended school in Cushing.  After school, Reba married Cecil McBride and to this union three children were born: Larry, Deborah, and Mark.  She earned a living as a hairdresser and later owned her own beauty salon.  Reba wanted to further her career and attended school at West Texas A&M earning her bachelor's degree and master's degree in education and counseling.  For numerous years, she worked as a counselor for an adult living center.  Reba eventually retired and moved back to Cushing.

In her free time, Reba enjoyed relaxing and reading a good book.  Studying her family's genealogy was something she loved to do.  She spent many hours learning about her family tree.

Reba is preceded in death by her parents, Everett and Ida Lawson; one daughter Deborah Sam; one grandson, Chad Sam; three siblings, James, Bobby, and Mary Lou Lawson.

Reba is survived by two sons, Larry and Terri McBride of Cushing, Mark McBride of Pennsylvania; four grandchildren, Larry D. McBride and wife, Crystall, Casey Hansen and husband, J.D., Wesley Sam, and Melissa McBride; two nephews, Donnie and Marty Lawson; one cousin, Shirley Smith.  Reba is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
