Obituary

Rebecca Jo Fick was born on February 28, 1954, to Wayne Jay and Patsy Jean (Covington) Coleman in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Most everyone called her Becky.

At the age of 10, her parents divorced. Her mom then married Maurice Miller. Her little brother, Scotty, was born, whom she cared for as her own. The family moved to North Hollywood, California. As a teenager, she got her first job at King Donut. The highlight at this time was living around the movie stars like Frank Sinatra.

On January 27, 1971, Becky was baptized in The General Assembly and Church of the Firstborn by Brother Frank Rhodes. At this time, her mother Pat said "We are moving you children amongst the brethren to Parkland, Oklahoma, for the saving of your souls."

She finished her senior year (class of 1972) at the Agra High School.  She met the love of her life, Jack Fick, Jr. After three months of dating, he proposed.  They were married on June 30, 1972. To this union, two sets of twins were born: Rorrie, Stacy, Brad and Stephanie. Jack took a job with Loyd Helm Dairy and the family lived on the farm. Becky learned how to live on a very small budget.

In 1980, they built a home, where their children were raised. Many days of love, laughter, and joyous moments were created in their small kitchen. Jack and Becky were married for 52 years.

Becky was known by many for her great love for the Lord. She held onto her "unwavering" faith to the end.  She was also known for her quick response, stunning wit and straight-shooting advice! She had a memory unmatched by none, but sought after by many. She was loved by her large family, brethren, and friends.

Preceding her in death is her son Brad Fick; father, Wayne Coleman; mother, Patsy Miller; two sisters, Dana Coleman and Gayle Wright; brother, Scott Miller; and her grandparents.

She leaves behind her husband Jack of the home; daughters, Rorrie Wright and husband Jesse of Cushing, OK, Stacy Godwin and Kevin of Sapulpa, OK, Stephanie Ellis and husband Jamie of Indianapolis, IN; daughter-in-law, Billie Fick of Tryon, OK; fourteen grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren and expecting three more in the Spring of 2025; two brothers, Michael Coleman of Oklahoma City, OK, and Terry Coleman and wife Cathy of Woodward, OK; two aunts, Doris Keller of Houston, TX and Cuba Odom of Okemah, OK; plus many beloved family and friends.

Funeral services for Becky will be at 10:00AM on Saturday, November 9, at The General Assembly and Church of the Firstborn in Parkland, Oklahoma.  Interment will be at Parkland Cemetery immediately following.
