Robert Harold Beaver passed from this life at the age of 78 on September 1, 2022.  His care has been entrusted to Palmer Marler Funeral Home in Cushing, OK.

Robert was born on April 3, 1944, to parents Delbert and Dorothy (Shuey) Beaver.  As a child, he loved to play sports, especially football and basketball.  He also spent many days going fishing at his favorite spot.  He graduated high school at Oilton and soon married the love of his life, Nancy Begley, on March 5, 1965.  To their union was born two daughters, Robin and Jessica.

Robert was a hard-working man and a very good provider for his family.  Nancy said that he was quite the charmer. Robert's true love and passion was his family.  He looked forward to seeing his children and especially his grandchildren. They were truly his world.  We also need to mention his love for his Labrador, Charlie.  She was a good friend to him.

Robert worked most of his life as a heavy machinery operator on the pipelines where he was able to retire in 2005. After retirement, he was able to spend more time working on cars which was another one of his passions.  He especially was fond of mustangs.

Robert is survived by his wife, Nancy; his daughter Robin Low and her husband Rusty; his grandchildren, Meghan and Ryan Low, Nik, Gabby, Kynlee, and Adleigh Capps, and Emma and Jaxon North; sister, Allene Loder and sister-in-law, Sally Beaver.

Robert is preceded in death by his parents, his daughter Jessica and her husband Adam North, and his brothers Theodore and Delbert Beaver.

A visitation for Robert will be from 2:00 – 7:00PM on Tuesday, September 6, 2022, at Palmer Marler Funeral Home in Oilton, OK. A Memorial service will then be held at 11AM on Saturday, September 17, 2022, at the First Baptist Church in Oilton, OK, with Pastor Larry Calvert officiating.
