Robert Arthur Linder Sr passed from this life on February 7, 2022, in Stillwater, OK.  Memorial services will be held on 10:00 a.m., Saturday, February 12, 2022 at HisWay EVC, Agra, Oklahoma.  His care has been entrusted to Palmar Marler Funeral Home in Cushing, OK.

Robert was born in Springfield, Missouri to Covadell and Sarah (McFarlin) Linder.  He grew up in Cushing and gave his life to the Lord when he was baptized in October 1962.  Robert went to school at Cushing High1963 where he enjoyed wrestling.  He married Shirley Kay Cook, April 3, 1965 in Agra, OK.

Robert spent his years working in the construction industry and was a carpenter for the Union working for JJ Cook Construction.  He loved to go coon hunting, fishing, noodling and deer hunting as a family. He enjoyed metal detecting and weight lifting. He also enjoyed family get togethers and he was as onery as the day is long.

He is survived by his children, Robby Linder and wife Robin of Guthrie; Darla Huckabay and husband Nathan of Cushing; Jason Linder and wife Kyla of Agra; and Jordan Cooper and husband Nathan of Ripley.  His siblings, Jerry Linder of Cushing; Carolyn Wright of Agra; and Don Linder and wife Debbie of Cushing.  His grandchildren, Robert A. Linder III and wife Magean; Weston Linder and wife Kristi; Taylor Linder; Nathan Huckabay II; Kelsie and Cole Linder.  Three great grandchildren Maccey, Bryor, and Wyatt Linder and his special friend Jan Ford.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife Shirley; brother Gary Dale; brother-in-law Thomas Wright; and sisters in-law Belinda, Sally and Karen Linder.
