Robert Christian Myers passed from this life on December 10, 2018 at his home in Tecumseh, Oklahoma.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Palmer Marler Funeral Home, Cushing, Oklahoma.  Services will be held at the Chapel of Palmer Marler Funeral at 1:00 pm on Friday, December 21, 2018 in Cushing Oklahoma.

Robert was born October 2, 1980 to Norman and Laurie (Amick) Myers at K.I. Sawyer AFB, in Gwinn, Michigan.  He graduated from Tecumseh High School, afterwards he went in to the food prep industry as a cook.  Robert loved his family and was extremely close to his mom, often referring to her as his best friend.  Robert is known by many as being a very loyal friend who would give you his last cent if he knew that you stood in need.  Robert loved to cook, play disc golf, fish, and fantasy football.  He could tell you anything and everything about cast iron, he also enjoyed a wide variety of music even teaching himself to play the guitar.  Robert loved teaching and spending time in the kitchen with his nieces, Lexie and Annie.  He also enjoyed having movie nights with Lexie, Annie, Eli, and Eva curled up under the blankets and munching on popcorn.

The name Robert means: " Bright shine" and as often happens the brightest stars burn themselves out early.

Robert is survived by his parents, Norman & Laurie (Amick) Myers of Tecumseh, OK, three brothers, Ronald Myers of Moreno Valley, CA, Daniel & Lacy Myers of Mustang, OK, Eli Myers of Tecumseh OK.; two sisters Sarah Myers of OKC, OK, Eva Myers of Tecumseh, OK; nieces & nephews : Iliana, Zoey, Ellie, Roman, Alexia & Annabelle and grandparents Ron and Ann Amick of Mt. Home, AR.
