Rodney Lynn Northrup was born October 29, 1971 to Brother Jimmie Oscar and Sister Betty Lou Northrup in Halsey, OR.  He passed from this life at his home in Stillwater, OK on December 3, 2020. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Palmer Marler Funeral Home, Cushing, OK.

He enjoyed living the faith and being with friends and brethren.  He joined the General Assembly and Church of the Firstborn on September 1, 1986. He loved to fish, hunt, and talk about 4x4ing.

Rod was preceded in death by his older brother, Anthony Wayne Northrup and his father, Brother Jimmie Oscar Northrup.

He is survived by his wife, Vernita Gaileen Northrup of Stillwater, OK; two stepsons, Matthew Ian and Jericho Olysses Nere of Sweethome, OR; his sons and daughters, Jimmie Oscar, Emarald Elizabeth, Tyler Reece, Jadyn Le'Ray, Ezekial (Zeke) Wayne, Rihanna Nadine Gaileen and Orrie Ella Northrup all of Stillwater, OK; his mother, Sister Betty Lou Northrup of Greenwood, IN; brothers, Randy and wife Cheri Northrup of Delta, CO, Darren and wife JoAnna Northrup of Lexington, OK, Justin Northrup of Halsey, OR; sisters, Lisa and husband Jeff Peterson of Greenwod, IN, Debbie and husband Dennis Sevier of Greenwood, IN, Lana Belongie of Oklahoma City, OK; brother in law, Wayne and wife Angie Nere of Mannford, OK; sister in law, Katrina Montague of Stillwater, OK; and a slew of nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 12, 2020 at Parkland Cemetery Pavilion.
