Rolla James "Slick" Silkwood, age 76, of Cushing, Oklahoma, passed away from this life peacefully in his home.

He was born in Stillwater, Oklahoma to Charlie and Alma (Cooper) Silkwood on November 17, 1948.

Rolla worked for many years in the trucking industry, but the oilfield was his true passion. He worked many long hours and holidays to provide for his family. Rolla married Jeanne Harmon of Cushing. From their union, they had three sons.

Rolla enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, as well as fishing.
