Ronda Wright, a longtime Cushing resident, passed away on Thursday, May 13, 2021 at the age of 85.  No services are planned at this time.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Palmer Marler Funeral Home, Cushing, Oklahoma.

Ronda was born on May 6, 1936 in Claremore, Oklahoma to the late Orville and Peggy (Huls) Wright.  She grew up in Cushing, graduating from Cushing High School in 1955.  Ronda married the love of her life Jack Daugherty.  To this union Jenny, Stacy, Lisa, and Amy were born.  They made their home in Cushing where they raised their children.  She worked for Southwestern Bell while her children were small then became a domestic goddess.   Ronda enjoyed watching O.U. Football and Westerns.  She liked to sew, read and cook.  Ronda was very loving and would take in extra kids at any time.  She will be missed by her family and friends.

Ronda is survived by her daughters Stacy Sue Pendergraff and husband Ronald of Agra, Lisa Ann Simpson and husband Karry of Cushing, Amy Lea Jones of Cushing, brother Davy Wright and wife Roberta of Norman, sister Linda Ogle of Terrell, Tx., grandchildren April Cook, Justin Ford and fiancé Johnna Robinson, Tara Vanbrunt and fiancé Brandon Brown, Zach and Meagan Simpson, Dakotah Simpson, Ethan and Megan Simpson, Taylor and Evan Raunikar, Ian Jones and Karlea Jones and 25 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Jenny Lynn Wright, great grandson Brecklyn Ford and brother Dale Wright.
