Ronnie Jay Anderson passed from this life on December 31, 2023, at his home surrounded by his family.  His care has been entrusted to Palmer Marler Funeral Home in Cushing, Oklahoma.

Ronnie was born on May 26, 1941, in Cushing, Oklahoma, to parents Vernon and Vergie (Wright) Anderson.  He was one of eleven children.  At a young age, Ronnie found the love of his life, Judy Daugherty and they were married on January 10, 1958, and was able to spend 65 wonderful years together.  To this union were born three boys: Lonnie Jay, Steven Lynn and Shane Bruce Anderson.

Ronnie was a quiet natured man with a humble heart.  He was always finding a way to help people, making sure they were taken care of.  Ronnie enjoyed his cars.  He loved to build them, race them, show them, and drive them.  Ronnie spent his career being a "Jack of all Trades", owning a Pawn Shop, being a truck driver, real estate investor and entrepreneur.  But his greatest love and proudest moments were the family that he was blessed with.  He loved his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, wanting to spend as much time with them as he could.  He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Ronnie is preceded in death by his parents; two sons, Lonnie Jay and Shane Bruce Anderson; and one grandson Josh Anderson.

He is survived by his wife Judy; son, Steven Lynn Anderson; six grandchildren, Kaycee Stewart, Kotie Anderson, Christopher Anderson, Whitney Anderson, Cheyanne Anderson and Ribbin Dorado; eleven great grandchildren, Emery Cunningham, Brandon Anderson, Valerie Cunningham, Darin Stewart, Bradley Jacobs, Brison Stewart, Kloie Stewart, Dalton Pope, Landon Pope, Legend Anderson and Ah'Nya Anderson; and four great-great grandchildren.

A visitation will be from 4PM - 8PM on Wednesday, January 3 at Palmer Marler Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be at 11AM on Thursday, January 4, at Oak Grove Baptist Church in Drumright, Oklahoma.
