Obituary

On September 25, 2007, Daniel and Amanda Culp welcomed their baby boy, Ryan William Culp, into the world. From his first few days, Ryan's smile would absolutely light up the room because he got his Dad's dimples.

From an early age, Ryan loved music. Especially rap music. He also loved his big brother, Dylan, although he wouldn't say it out loud. When they needed to get away and out of the house, they would take trips to Whataburger, always having a great time. They were truly inseparable, always smiling and laughing together.

He attended school at Perkins and played baseball. He was so good at baseball that he covered all of the positions from outfield, second base, catcher and even pitcher. If he wasn't out on the baseball field, he was at Planet Fitness working out.
A whole paragraph needs to be devoted to Ryan and his love for mirrors. Mirrors gave him the opportunity to flex his muscles to see how the new workout was making him look swoll. Or checking out his hair, shaking and flipping it so it fell just right. Mirrors also helped make sure his outfits were perfectly coordinated. The shoes had to match the shirt…if a hoodie was worn, the shirt underneath had to match in case the hoodie came off.

Recently, the family moved from the country to town and Ryan was thrilled with the move. Going from pastures to pavement gave him more access to hanging out with his friends. He adored hanging out with his friends. It didn't matter what they were doing, shooting hoops, watching videos, or causing a scene on Halloween, as long as he was with his friends, that's where he wanted to be. They were his world and meant so much to him. He was also passionate about cars, but it wasn't the old classic cars, it was the sleek new ones that would roar when punched. Ryan was easy to please when it came to food, all he needed was pizza. Pizza for breakfast, pizza for lunch, pizza for dinner and maybe another slice before bed! He would take a break from pizza for sour patch kids.

He will be sorely missed. Miss the new funny videos he had to show you on TikTok. Miss the jokes he made picking on his parents and his brother. Miss the loud music coming from his room. Miss him checking himself out in the mirror before walking by. Miss the dimple smile that lit up the room.

Ryan passed from this life on Wednesday, June 1, 2022. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, June 13, 2022, at the First Baptist Church in Perkins, OK. Burial will follow at Perkins Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Palmer Marler Funeral Home.
