Samantha Nicole Simonson, also known to many as Nikki, passed from this life on Wednesday, December 4, 2024.

Nikki Hupp was born November 1, 1989, to Carl & Darlene Hupp in California. From Nikki's first breath, she was her momma's world. Her Pappa Hayes nicknamed her "Nickelodeon". Nikki and her momma traveled many places, making a lot of memories. They were inseparable and became closer as the years passed. Her Grandma Hupp called her Nikkipoo and the three of them would travel to many places enjoying being together.

She graduated from Brookwood High School in Alabama. She was baptized into The General Assembly & Church of The Firstborn on May 19, 2013, by Brother Ronnie Watters.

Nikki could always make you laugh with her quirky sense of humor. Her smile would bring great joy and smiles to those around her and when she squeezed you with her big hug you knew you were loved.

Being with her church family brought her joy, along with going to Alabama every year for Thanksgiving. There was a lot of laughter during the holiday baking times with her momma and cousins making pies using her Grandma Hayes pie dough recipe.

On May 22, 2021, Nikki became a wife and help meet to her best friend & love of her life, Brother Gregory Simonson. She loved the way he made her feel like the most important person in his life and enjoyed her birthday breakfasts Gregory would cook for her. Their daily Bible time was important to Nikki. Monday night Bible Trivia with Mom, Dad & Marie Simonson, fixing puzzles and playing Monopoly with Greg brought her great joy. She was so excited to become a mom and on December 4, 2024, her biggest lifelong dream was fulfilled when they welcomed their beautiful baby girl, Sophia Grace.

Nikki mourned the losses of her Aunt "Tooty" Terri Hupp, Grandpa Buddy Hupp, Grandpa Jimmy Hayes, " Grandpa" Ronnie Watters, Grandma Janice Hayes "Watters", and Uncle Darrel Hayes.

Those left to mourn the loss of Nikki are:

Husband Gregory and daughter Sophia Grace, Her momma Darlene Hupp of Agra Ok, Dad Carl Hupp of Montgomery Alabama, Grandma Hupp & Aunt Debbie Matlock of Tulare California, Uncle Jimmy Hayes of Coaling Alabama and many cousins, family and friends including Kat Woods, "Libbity" Elizabeth Blackburn, "Kimbo" Kimberly McGee, Divine Linder, Stephania VanVolkenburgh, Denise Rodgers aka Crazy Nanna, "Mimmy" Joyce Baker, Tammy Battles, and the SWAT.

She left this world with a peaceful, beautiful

smile that her momma will remember forever.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Palmer Marler Funeral Home.  A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 12, 2024 at The General Assembly and Church of the Firstborn in Cushing, Oklahoma with interment at Flynn Cemetery immediately following.  A visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 11, 2024 from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
