Susan Gail Gillenwater Cannon passed from this life on March 15, 2023, at the age of 60.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Palmer Marler Funeral Home in Cushing, Oklahoma.

Susan was born on July 17, 1962, to William Crane and Neta (Evans) Dunn.  She began her schooling in Sand Springs, Oklahoma, and later moved with her family to Kansas, Oklahoma, where she graduated high school.  Susan was known for her sweet personality and the perseverance she held throughout her life.  Around the 5 ^th grade, Susan was diagnosed with a disease that she would carry with her the rest of her life.  Although this sickness is something she had to live with, she did not let it stop her from living her life to the fullest.

She enjoyed traveling, especially when she went to Orlando, Florida with her husband on their honeymoon.  They also enjoyed going to San Antonio, Texas.  Although traveling brought her a lot of joy, her greatest love was her family, especially her son Richard and her nieces and nephews.  She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Susan is preceded in death by her dad, William Crane and her first husband Frank Jones.

She is survived by her husband, Michael Cannon; son, Richard Jones; brother, Byron (Jeff) Crane and wife Patricia Whiteside-Crane; and mother, Neta Gail Dunn.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, March 17, 2023, in the Chapel of Palmer Marler Funeral Home, Cushing.
