Tara Junea Fowler, 33, passed away on November 11th, 2023, in her home.
Tara was born in Pomona, California. She was the daughter of Sherri Lynn Pratt-Micek of Cushing, OK and Wallace Allen Story of Charleston, Illinois with bonus parents, James Saxton of California and Erik Micek of Missouri, and Marcia Story of Charleston, Illinois.
She graduated from Cushing High School in 2008. She enjoyed music, art and poetry. She will be remembered for her love to make people laugh, her willingness to sing in any situation at the drop of a hat, and the love she had for her children.
She is survived by her children, Dawson Cole Fowler and Lillian Kay Fowler of Poplar Bluff, Missouri. The kids' father Todd Fowler, of Poplar Bluff, Missouri and her life partner Herbert Fox of Cushing, OK. Her grandmother Sallie June Pratt, of Dexter, Missouri. Her siblings Amber Kay Sherman and husband Jordan Sherman of Cushing, OK. Vincent Edward Saxton and wife Stormie Saxton of Cushing, OK. Mariah Farace and husband Chris Farace of Melbourne, Australia. Tiffany Lynnae Story of Seoul, Korea. Nicholas Taylor Story of Charleston, Illinois. Nieces and nephews, Aubri Sherman, Oliver Sherman, Tegan Sherman, Viktor Saxton, Evelyn Saxton of Cushing, OK.

She is preceded in death by her grandpa Edward Pratt of Cushing, OK. Grandparents, William and Lydia Story of Winner, South Dakota. Aunt Derenda Holohan of Illinois. Uncle Donald Story of Winner, South Dakota.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Palmer Marler Funeral Home.
The funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 16th, 2023, at 2:00pm at the Palmer-Marler Funeral Home in Cushing, OK.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be sent directly to the funeral home to help with funeral costs.
