Obituary

Teresa Lee Adcox passed from this life on Friday, February 5, 2021 at her home with family by her side.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Palmer Marler Funeral Home.  The family will be holding a memorial service at a later date.

Teresa was born on June 1, 1951 to William Johnson and Betty Lou (Ledford) Richardson in Oklahoma City, OK.  She was born and raised in the Oklahoma City area, attending school at Capital Hill High School.  She had three loving children, Floyd, Christopher, and Christina.  She made sure they had anything and everything they ever needed.  She married the love of her life, Murray Anthony Adcox in Royal, Arkansas in November of 2000.

Teresa was a fun loving, ornery woman with a heart of gold.  She loved spoiling her grandchildren and cats.  Teresa was caring, always taking in strays and making sure they were all fed well.  Her heart was always full when she could spend time with her family and friends.  She will be missed by all.

Teresa is survived by her children, Floyd Cecil Yancey III of Agra, OK, Christopher Yancey and wife Adrianna of Yuma, AZ, and Christina Yancey-Herrmann and husband, Rodney of Agra, OK; seven siblings, Donna Sutton and husband, Leon of Royal, AR, Kathy Tyler and husband, Jimmy of Blanchard, OK, Rhonda King of Norman, OK, Mickey Richardson of Moore, OK, Darrell Richardson of Sulphur, OK, Gerald Richardson of Norman, OK, Tammy Bannister and husband, James of Moore, OK; one uncle, Clarence Edward Johnson; six grandchildren, Cameron Yancey, Jordan Herrmann, Jacob Herrmann, Abigail Herrmann, Caitlyn Herrmann, and Natalie Yancey; four great grandchildren, JaKobi, Keison, Shaylee, and Wyatt; a multitude of nieces, nephews, and friends.

Teresa is preceded in death by her parents, William Johnson and Betty Lou (Ledford) Richardson; husband, Murray Anthony Adcox; brother, Ronnie Richardson; grandson, Cody Yancey; nephew, Gerald "G-Man" Richardson Jr.; niece, Shannon Smith.
