In Loving Memory of Teresa Basquez-Schlieve

Teresa Basquez-Schlieve, a beloved nana, momma, and wife, passed away on August 12, 2024, at the age of 58.

Teresa was preceded in death by her parents, Judy and Gunner Basquez; her brother, Pancho Basquez; and her nephews, Tracy Basquez and Ignacio Flores.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Jeff Schlieve; her children, Consuela Havenar and Chris and his wife Angel Havenar; her brother, Roger Basquez; her sisters, Donna, Roxie, Debbie, Kathy, and Michelle; and dozens of nieces and nephews. Teresa was also a cherished grandmother to Adriana, Destini, Johnny, K'Dence, Braelynn, and Hayden, and a proud great-grandmother to Genesis, Zion, and Aiyanna. She will be dearly missed by her loyal dogs, Dexter, Slinky, and Bella.

Teresa had a heart of gold, always giving so much of herself to everyone else. Her love, kindness, and generosity will be remembered by all who knew her.

A memorial and placement of her ashes will be announced at a later date.

Teresa's memory will forever be held close in the hearts of her loved ones, and her legacy of love will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know her.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Palmer Marler Funeral Home.  A visitation will be held on Monday, August 19, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 20, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and Wednesday, August 21, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
