Terry Day passed from this life on Saturday, August 28, 2021 in Stillwater with family by his side at the age 74.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Palmer Marler Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday September 3, 2021 at the Greenwood Cemetery in Yale, OK, with Pastor Randell Newby officiating.

Terry was born on January 20, 1947 to William and Catherine (Winks) Day in Midwest City, OK. He grew up and attended school in Midwest City and after finishing school, Terry joined the United States Marine Corp. Terry served his country proudly during the Vietnam War. After being honorably discharged, Terry worked for the Veteran's Administration for 30+ years.

On July 25, 1987, Terry married the love of his life, Dorothy Boley in Perkins, OK. Terry had two loving daughters, Patricia and Shannon.
In his free time, Terry loved being in the great outdoors, either fishing, hunting, or grilling. His greatest joy in his life, was being a grandfather. He loved spending time and having fun with his grandkids.

Terry was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He will be missed by all.

Terry is preceded in death by his parents, William and Catherine (Wink) Day and one brother, Richard Day.

Terry is survived by his wife of 34 years, Dorothy Day; two daughters, Patricia Exton and husband, David, and Shannon Glass; four grandchildren: Ethan, Kyleigh, Rebecca, and Joshua; one sister, Donna Means; one twin brother, Jerry Day.
