Thomas Claire Ball Jr. longtime Agra resident passed from this life on January 24, 2020 at the age of 78.  Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Palmer Marler Funeral Home, Cushing, Oklahoma.

Tommy was born November 22, 1941 to proud parents Thomas Sr. and Lola Faye (Epps) Ball in Agra, Oklahoma.  The family moved to Wyoming for a time during childhood before returning to Agra.  Tommy graduated Agra High School with the Class of 1959.  He would then join the Navy and serve his country for four years before beginning his career at Tinker.  He worked there for 26 years starting on the line and ending as a foreman of Final Prep/Engine Overhaul.  Tommy met the love of his life, Janis Miller on July 1, 1966 and they were married on August 9, 1966 in Cushing.  Their union of 53 years was blessed with one very special son, Thomas Ball III.  Tommy enjoyed fishing, raising cattle, his John Deere tractors and was always known to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.

Tommy is preceded in death by his parents.

He I survived by his wife Janis of the home; son, Thomas Ball III of Perry, OK; siblings, Mike Ball and wife Pokey of Agra, OK, Mary Ludtke of Agra, OK, Linda McPike of Oregon, and Elner Becker and Husband Ed of Washington; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 30, 2020 at the Chapel of Palmer Marler Funeral Home with Pastor Jeff Kelly officiating.  Interment to follow services at Osage Cemetery in Agra, Oklahoma.  Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 28, 2020; 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 29, 2020 at Palmer Marler Funeral Home, Cushing, OK.
