May 26, 1959 – February 8, 2020
Tray LaWayne Caldwell Sr. Of Sapulpa, Ok passed away on February 8th, 2020 at 60 years of age. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 12, 2020 at Canyon Road Baptist Church, 8550 S. 49th W. Ave., Tulsa, OK 74131. Arrangements are entrusted to Palmer Marler Funeral Home, Cushing, OK.
Tray was born in Harlingen, TX to Dannie and Barbara Caldwell on May 26th, 1959. He Graduated from Sapulpa High School in 1977. Immediately following his graduation he followed in his Father's and his older brother's footsteps and joined the United States Air Force as a Fire Protection Specialist and was stationed at Lackland Air Force Base and Whiteman Air Force Base, deploying to Korea to serve in a M.A.S.H unit during his enlistment. It was while he was stationed at Whiteman AFB that he met the love of his life Angela Faye Caldwell.
Upon completion of his Air Force enlistment, Tray returned home to Sapulpa, Ok. At this time, he joined the Tulsa Fire Department where he served from 1981 to 2006. During these years Tray served alongside some of the greatest professionals who he always considered family. He loved the men and women of the Tulsa Fire Department like they were his Brothers and Sisters.
During these years Tray also worked as a stagehand at the Tulsa Performing Arts center where he worked in several different roles from carpenter, to rigger, to Assistant Business Director for the Tulsa Ballet.
When Tray wasn't working, he loved music of any kind. He enjoyed traveling, camping, fishing, and doing anything that took place on the water. Tray loved his family and made a hobby out of raising children.

His Father in law Roy Moore Jr.
His Brother Kevin Caldwell Sr.
His Great Nephew Jack Vanarsdel
Tray was survived by:
His loving wife Angela Caldwell
His Daughter Aubrey Caldwelll
His Son Tray Caldwell Jr and his wife Lindsey.
His Daughter Sarah Caldwell
His Daughter Morgan Caldwell
His Son Kevin Caldwell III
His brother Dannie and his wife Patti Caldwell
His sister Wendy and her husband Gary Vanarsdel
And his mother Barbara Caldwell, all of Sapulpa.
And his Grandchildren who were his pride.
