Wanda Jean Haley, 91, of Ripley, Oklahoma passed peacefully from this life on Monday, March 14, 2022, surrounded by family.  Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Palmer Marler Funeral Home, Cushing.

She was born January 31, 1931 in Quay, Oklahoma to proud parents Henry W. and Neva M. (Grimes) Carlile. Wanda was raised in the Maramec/Quay area graduating from Quay High School. She was united in marriage to the love of her life, Wade Haley on November 27, 1949 in Yale, OK; they would share almost 73 years together. They traveled and moved all over following Wade's job working on the pipeline. Wanda loved crocheting, gardening, collecting seashells, crafting, and painting.  She taught Sunday school as well as numerous bible clubs through the years.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Wade; daughter, Carol Kachner; son in law, Frank Paxton; and daughter in law Bobbie Haley.

She is survived by her children, Don Haley of Ripley, Dean and wife Sue Haley of Ripley, Linda and husband Darrol Williamson of Guthrie, Kay Paxton of Stillwater and Steve and Clindy Kachner of Ripley; as well as 15 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 17, 2022 at Palmer Marler Funeral Home, Cushing.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, March 18, 2022, at the Chapel of Palmer Marler Funeral home, 800 S. Linwood Ave. Cushing, OK.
