Wayne B.
Shaw
May 5, 1953 – January 9, 2025
In fair remembrance of Wayne Bryan Shaw, whose journey commenced in Fontana's embrace the fifth of May in '53, and whose final curtain fell in Cushing's gentle clasp on January's ninth in '25. A noble kin of Linda, Lisa, and Rick, a patriarch to Matt, Ciegi, Adam, and Nichole, and a star to Grason, Barhett, Ellie, and Erik, he was a consort once to Jane, now passed, and Sharon of yore.
A valiant SP4 in the Army's ranks, he later lent his hand to CalTrans' noble cause for seventeen winters. In moments of repose, he strummed life's strings with guitar, breathed life into model cars, and raced joy in slot cars' fleeting chase.
An analytical mind, faith-filled heart, and a soul of boundless interest—thus was Wayne. His tale, though ended, echoes in the annals of time, a sonnet of life penned with love's own hand.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Palmer Marler Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held on Friday, January 24, 2025 at Fort Gibson National Cemetery.
